Residents in the city of Issaquah and the Issaquah School Districts have submitted their applications to run for office this November.
Four city council positions will be on the ballot this year. Michele Kemper and Zach Hall have filed for city council position 2. Incumbents Lindsey Walsh and Victoria Hunt are unopposed and have filed for positions 4 and 6 respectively. Three candidates, Tim Flood, Sarah Perry and Barbara de Michele have filed for position 3.
Issaquah School District also has four open seats on its board of directors. Two of the positions have incumbent candidates running unopposed. Anne Moore filed for position 1 and Sydne Mullings filed for position 4. Suzanne Weaver, Layna Crofts and Joe Robinson filed for position 5. Incumbent Harlan Gallinger and Minal Kode Ghassemieh have filed for positions 3.
Candidate filing officially closed at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17.
