Candidates for Issaquah mayor, city council, and school board will participate in a forum on Thursday, October 7, from 6:30-8:30pm. Residents are invited to propose questions in an email to ICTV@issaquahwa.gov by Oct. 1.

The forum will air live on Issaquah City Television (channel 21) and Issaquah City Channel on YouTube, and the recording will remain available on YouTube. The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah, the Issaquah branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and the Issaquah Cable TV Commission will sponsor this event.

At 6:30pm, we will start with candidates for Issaquah mayor and city council:

• Mayor: Mary Lou Pauly (unopposed)

• Position 1: Chris Reh (unopposed)

• Position 3: Barbara de Michele (unopposed)

• Position 5: Rose Zibrat, Russell Joe

After a 15-minute break, we will resume at 7:30pm with candidates for the Issaquah school district:

• Director 2: Robin Poe, Marnie J. Maraldo

• Director 4: Wendy Ghiora, Sydne Mullings

All candidates will make opening statements, but only opposed candidates will respond to questions and give closing statements. Connie Fletcher, a member of Kiwanis, and Anne Frances Owen, a member of AAUW, will moderate the forum.
