At least 25 cases of coronavirus have been reportedly connected to the Salish Lodge and Spa in Snoqualmie, and anyone who visited the lodge, spa, restaurant or gift shop should monitor themselves for symptoms or get tested.

The outbreak includes 23 staff members and two guests. Public Health Seattle and King County is recommending anyone who visited the lodge from Sept. 16 to 30 should get tested for COVID-19, monitor for symptoms and avoid close contact with others. People who visited the lodge should self-quarantine for 14 days.

Those who visited the lodge from Sept. 5 through Sept. 15, but did not develop symptoms, do not need to be tested or quarantine unless recommended to do so by their doctor.

The best time to get tested is five to seven days after visiting the lodge, or when symptoms emerge.

King County said Salish Lodge and Spa is fully cooperating with Public Health to implement recommendations, and is testing staff to reduce transmissions. The facility, 6501 Railroad Ave., Snoqualmie, has also temporarily closed.

“At Salish, it is always our mission to take care of our team members and guests in every way we can,” wrote Salish Lodge and Spa General Manager Alan Stephens in a statement. “We have done everything possible to protect our guests and team members since the beginning of the pandemic, including elevating our health, hygiene, safety and sanitation protocols and following health agency guidance.”
