Arbor Day celebration
The Issaquah Highlands Council is hosting an Arbor Day Celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at Grand Ridge Elementary School.
The event will feature an Environmental Expo, lunch and 25 local nonprofit environmentally friendly businesses.
Guest speaker topics include “Living with bears,” “Hiking with children,” “Wildlife rehabilitation and refuge” and “Living green, a behind the scenes in Issaquah Highlands trolley tour.”
Also on schedule for the event are an electric car exhibit, cycling demonstrations, face painting, kid crafts and a bounce house.
