Karin Krslovic is the grants and reserves budget manager in the Office of the President. She manages the office’s grantmaking and oversees the Reserves Fund. Karin also manages the grants for various Foundation-wide special initiatives.

Prior to this role, as a grants manager, Karin supported Ford program teams advancing the rights of LGBTQ people; reducing HIV/AIDS discrimination and exclusion; and promoting electoral reform and democratic participation. She has also managed grantmaking efforts to promote philanthropy; reform civil and criminal justice systems; and increase civic and political participation. For three years she led the Foundation’s Good Neighbor Committee which supports organizations and activities that contribute to the neighborhood’s civic spirit and vitality in Midtown Manhattan near the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice.

Previously, Karin worked as a consultant and adviser to the National Foundation for Civil Society Development in Croatia and serves on the board of advisors of Kids’ S.P.A.C.E., a program providing affordable, reliable, and enriching child care to the community.

Karin holds a bachelor’s in business management from Manhattanville College and a certificate in grantmaking and foundations from New York University.
