Keith A. Loran, of Battle Ground, Wash., died at Swedish Cherry Hill Medical Center in Seattle on Friday, July 31.
He was 53 years of age.
Keith was born on July 5, 1956 in Missoula, Mon. to Jacob and Elenor Loran. He was raised in Issaquah and graduated from Issaquah High School in 1974.
On Aug. 14, 1976, he married Dot Morrison.
Keith received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in 1982.
He held many sales positions throughout his career, and was most recently employed by Hood River Juice as sales manager.
Keith was a longtime member of Toastmasters, and in his leisure time enjoyed many activities.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to golf, fish, coach his children’s softball and baseball teams, and most importantly spend time with his family and friends.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Dot, of Battle Ground; two daughters, Amanda Williams (Nathan) of Portland, Ore., and Nicole Loran, of Battle Ground; one son David Loran (Jennifer), of Portsmouth, Va; his parents Jake and Elenor Loran, of Sammamish; a brother Tom Loran, of Kodiak, Ala; three sisters, Joan Reber, of Renton, Mary Ann Schober of Bellevue and Barbara Loran.
In addition, he is survived by one granddaughter, Dorothy Blair Loran and a goddaughter, Abigail Hearron.
Keith will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, coach, and friend.
His good nature and sense of humor will be missed by those who knew him.
A memorial service was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1603 North Parkway Ave, Battle Ground, on Aug. 5.
